I just failed my psychology test.
I am sleep deprived because of said test.
I am broke to the max.

And I’m still happier. First time in a long while. The feeling of freedom is sweet.

I can’t stop petting (and talking about) my hair. It’s so soft and feels soooo light! I love the haircut guy so much that he is officially my new hairstylist from this point on.

Except no one notices the difference. Even if I did chop off a good eight or so inches off my hair.

Last time I’ll talk about my hair for now because I’m pretty sure I’m pissing everyone off. Wait, no. Hair! Okay, I’m done.

Goodbye to:
- getting pen caps stuck to my hair
- looking like a maniac in class while struggling to get rid of said pen caps in my hair
- getting my hair caught in my bag strap
- taking 10 minutes just to zipper up my jacket and readjust my bag strap so my hair isn’t clipped in
- and yesterday forever.

The uneven edges of a feather ruffle slightly with the wind as it drifts across the pale blue sky. For a brief moment, it perches itself upon the rough surface of a nearby rock.

It just sits there. Precariously, ready to totter over with just the slightest breeze.

And for that quick, cursory moment, you pause and realize how delicate life is. Despite what we think and may know, there’s never a moment in life when we’ll be completely safe and secure.
